Peanut Butter Chocolate Banana Bread
When Charlie was born, the hospital sent us home with Banana Bread. I never tasted anything more delicious in my life. Ever since, I can’t stop making it for Ronnie and myself. Every week, I look forward to buying bananas at the store, simply to let them ripen on my counter all week, so they will be just perfect for this Banana Bread.

What you’ll Need
2 large eggs
1/2 cup of salted butter
1/2 cup of brown sugar
1/2 cup of granulated sugar
1 1/3 cups of flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup of sour cream
1 1/2 cups bananas , ripe and mashed (~3-4 bananas)
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
How to Make
Preheat your oven to 325 °F
First, prepare your dry ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, mix together flour, baking soda.
Now, prepare your wet ingredients
In a separate bowl, mix together — melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
Once mixed, add to this mixture your 2 eggs, vanilla, sour cream, and mashed bananas.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and use a spatula to mix until just combined
A little at a time, folding in the wet ingredients with the dry ones. Once combined, add in the chocolate chips, peanut butter, and walnuts, stirring to mix.
Finally, we’re ready to bake
Pour mix into a greased 9x5 loaf baking dish. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Let cool for at least 2 hours before serving. Bonus points if you put it in the fridge overnight, so it’s nice and cool and dense.
Enjoy!
