Yaya’s Christmas Pecans

What You’ll Need

  • 1 lb pecan halves

  • 1 egg white

  • 1 tbs cold water

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

  • 1/2 cup sugar

  • 2 tsp cinnamon

  • 1 tsp salt

How to Make

Preheat oven to 250°F

  • Mix egg white and cold water with beater until very stiff (butter-like).

  • Mix together brown sugar, sugar, cinnamon, and salt.

  • Fold pecans in to coat with egg white and sugar mix.

  • Bake at 250°F. Stir every 15 minutes for 1 hour.
