Warm Chicky Salad Sammies on Croissant

What You’ll Need

  • 4 large croissants

  • 2 cups prepared chicken salad

  • ⅓ cup dried cranberries

  • ¼ cup chopped giardiniera (well-drained)

  • 4 slices provolone cheese

  • 2 tbs mayo

  • 1 tbs spicy dijon mustard

How to Make

Preheat oven to 350°F.

  • Build the Base

    • Slice croissants in half horizontally. Spoon a generous mound of chicken salad onto the bottom half of each croissant. Top with a slice of provolone. Place the tops back on.

  • Warm + Melt

    • Wrap each sandwich loosely in foil and place on the baking sheet. Bake for 8–12 minutes, until: The cheese is melted The filling is warmed through. Open the foil and return to the oven for 3 more minutes so the croissants lightly crisp on the outside.

  • Add the yummy goodness.

    • Remove from the oven and carefully lift the tops off. Sprinkle in the dried cranberries and chopped giardiniera. Add a swipe of mayo and Dijon. Return the tops, wrap loosely again if needed to keep warm.

  • Serve as you wish!
