Always Choose Adventure

Ronnie and I live by two simple rules—one for safety, and one for soul: Always choose adventure. What started as a spontaneous night out turned into a guiding principle that’s taken us from dancing on bars in Paris to chasing hot springs in Wyoming, and sparked joy in the simplest choices, like puzzles over Netflix or bonfires over routine. Adventure doesn’t have to be far or fancy—it just has to be different. When life starts feeling like a string of Tuesdays, we ask, “When’s the last time you did something for the first time?” This week’s Recipe for Success is for the bold, the curious, and the fun-seekers, interested in cooking up memorable moments as much as meals.

Ronnie’s BBQ Ribbies

This week’s recipe is for the bold: it’s messy, time-consuming, and absolutely worth it. Ribs aren’t just Ronnie’s specialty—they’re a Caldwell family legacy. His uncle “Man” ran a legendary BBQ joint in Alabama for over 20 years, complete with a 30-foot grill. Now, Ronnie’s carrying the torch in our St. Charles backyard, where his smoked ribs have become the star of every summer gathering. Friends always say, “These are the best effing ribs I’ve ever had!” So I’m sharing the recipe that turns backyard hangs into unforgettable feasts. If you’re ready to impress your crew and taste what decades of barbecue tradition deliver—this one’s for you. Fire up the grill and dig in!
