Stef’s Chicken Macro Bowl

After writing my resource on How to Count Macros, I wanted to make sure to share two recipes (this one, and this other one) that you could easily implement in your own life with their associated macros. Here you go! This recipe is for four servings. The screen shot from MyFitnessPal below, is of the associated Macros is for ONE serving.

Yields - 4 servings

Prep time - 20 mins

What You’ll Need:

How to Make

  • Chop your onions.

  • Warm avocado oil over medium heat.

  • Add your chopped onions to skillet and let cook, stirring occasionally, for about 5 minutes, or until they start to become yellow and translucent.

  • While your onions are cooking, prep your ground chicken:

    • I grind my chicken in my food processor for this recipe so that I can have my chicken breast, but also have a ground chicken like consistency to this dish, either do this, or cut up into super small chunks.

  • Add ground chicken to skillet with your onions, over the top, sprinkle your Siete seasoning packet and let cook until chicken is cooked through, stirring occasionally and making sure to keep grounds separated, about 10-15 mins.

  • Once your chicken is complete, measure 5.25oz of chicken into a bowl; scoop 1/4 cup of yogurt on top, 1 oz of avocado, and 1 tsp of Chalula.

Enjoy!

If you liked this recipe, you will probably like this one too, it’s a little bit more complex, and doesn’t have the associated macros, but it is damn delicious.
